Configuration Information:
Version: 4.0

Everytime I boot my computer, just before it is complete I get a "
This program (NSCHED32) has performed an illegal operation and will
close program. If I try to manually run the scheduler I get the same
message. If my time date and year settings are wrong how do I change
them, if that is it?

Steve,
Please check your system date to ensure that it is set correctly. Having a
system date later than the year 2080 will case this error. If this is not
the case, please let me know.

To see what your current system date is, just hold you mouse cursor over the
clock in your system tray. To edit the time/date, just double click the
clock.

Regards,

Thank you very much! Not only did that take care of that problem but
it cleared up some Windows98 problems too. However, My date read 2043
which is under 2080 of course. But, I set it to 1998 and it worked. I
assuming that, that is what you meant to do.

Steve,
Yes.. I guess the MS Scheduler chokes earlier than the Symantec Program
Scheduler (that is what the date of 2080 came from).

I'm glad to see all is well again. Please let us know if our Symantec
Technical Support team can be of further assistance.
