I take it that you are trying to schedule a virus scan. If the NAV program
is running when the scheduled event is set to occur then you will need to
close it first. How are you scheduling the scan?

I'm using the program sked. option. It used to work fine. doing the
following.
1 .edit..enter time for scan
2. type of event =scan for viruses
3. description=weekly scan
4. what = c:/
5. save changes? = ok
6. minimize = yes

again alarm sounds, program sked appears on bottom of screen but then
quickly disappears.. no scan

I have seen a couple of posts from users that have had to delete the
currently scheduled scan then create a new one and that remedied the
problem. Have you tried that?
