I recommend you uninstall Norton AntiVirus via the Add/Remove Programs
applet in the Windows Control Panel then manually delete the "C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs" folder. Restart the
computer, reinstall NAV then update both the program and virus definition
files via LiveUpdate. You may need to run LiveUpdate up to four times to
be fully up to date.
