Hi,
Cannot import current WinFax Pro 8.03 phonebooks into Act! 4.02. I've
been using WinFax Pro for years and have built up a significant
contact list located in phonebooks. These phonebooks consist of files
with .WF* extensions.
Recently purchased Act! 4.02 and wish to create a database using the
information from my WinFax phonebooks. When attempting to "import"
these phonebooks, I'm not given an option for files with the .WF*
type extensions. Only the .dbf extensions seem appropriate. I do have
some .dbf files with names similar to my phone books in my
WinFax\Data folder, but they are several years old.
Act! and WinFax are supposed to work together, but there's very
little "clear documentation" on how to accomplish this seemingly very
basic task!
Please advise.
