Hi Dave,

Are you trying to import the paragraphs into the Notes field? If so
the design of ACT! 4.0 does not support importing to notes using a
text file.

ACT! 4.0 can import notes using a dBase file with the memo field. The
following is document on this process.

Title: 'Importing Notes from a dBASE Database into ACT!'
Document ID: 19961219161222

Hi Dave,

Your correct you can import to the Note field but it does not import
multiple instances of notes as separate note records, it would create
a single note.

Execept for the Note memo field all other fields are limited to 255
characters, as long as your multiple paragraph did not execeed this
limitation you could.

ACT! 4.0 is not designed to give you multiple memo fields which is
what the Notes area is.
