Hi Steve,

The design of ACT! 4.0 does not support the export of notes fields.
Notes can be imported using dBase. The following document details the
process.

Title: 'Importing Notes from a dBASE Database into ACT!'
Document ID: 19961219161222
Web URL:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/act.nsf/docid/19961219161222

There is a third party utility which allows the importing of ASCII
text into ACT! on a field by field basis, which is more flexible than
ACT!. For fruther information check OAK!MERGE! by OakHurst Systems
Inc. at the following URL.

We do offer a Software Developers Kit(SDK) which allows a custom
application to be created. We also have a symantec.support.sdk.act
newsgroup for users to post questions and get help from other SDK or
developers. Symantec only supports the use of the SDK through phone
support. For further information on the SDK use the following link.

Thank you for using ACT!
