Mapping Error

Dear Sir / Madam-
We recently installed Act!4.0, and are now finding an error in the
mapping function.
The "Map to" fields when importing / exporting should be the source
Act database information while the "To this field" fields should be
the destination database information. Correct me if I am wrong;
however, the manual and our experience has taught us this.
We are finding that the destination fields are actually appearing in
the "Map to" fields and vice versa (source fields are in "To this
field"). When we ignore this strange twist of developments, the
information DOES NOT export / import.
Rather than having to pay Act! to figure out why your software is in
error, I was hoping you may already have heard about this. Perhaps
you can enlighten us!
Please respond ASAP, as this error is holding us up on a current
project.
