Import ACT 2.10 To Act 4.0.2

Hello,

I am having difficulties importing my act database from my old DOS
version 2.10 to version 4.0.2 under Win98.

I use the instructions in the manual:

- open the old file - act says it will import it.
- continue with "create backup" and "move to default dir.." options
checked.

Act indicates it is importing the database, but a few % into the
process it seems to stop - the program does not actually 'lock up'
the menus are still active. I have to exit the program, but the
conversion is not done.

I have used the compress/index utility from act 2 but this has had no
effect. I have also transferred all contacts to a new database and
tried importing it - same problem.

Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated.
