I use Act 4 (I have the most recent Live update) with a newly installed Winfax 9 and I have a problem that I need your immediate help with QUICKLY!!!!

Whenever I launch Winfax 9 from ACT 4, I get a box that says (in Winfax) Log and Data Verification.  At this point the whole system hangs up and freezes.

Everything worked great with the previous version of Winfax, I only have this problem after I installed Winfax 9.  Please let me have a solution right away.

Hello Richard,

I use ACT! 4.02 and WinFax 9 successfully. Check Help, About to verify
the installed version of ACT! You can use LiveUpdate to update to the
current release ACT! 4.02 if necessary.

Make sure you have the database selected as a WinFax phonebook in
ACT!'s edit, preferences, WinFax options tab.

What happens when you try to send a fax using WinFax on its own?

What steps do you follow that lead to the error? What default word
processor are you using?

Let us know what you discover so we can work together to solve the
problem using WinFax 9 and ACT!
