Hi
Have a kind of problem between both Act 3.02 &
Act 4.02 macros
together with Winword office 97. From the File
menu, I select the
"Send Fax Using ACT..." command after having
written from an
ACT/Winword Template a Winword Office 97
document. If I use the
"Send
Fax Using ACT..." command/macro the formatting in
tables is
distorted. That means text is placed outside or
too high in the
table. When I use the same document and use the
Winfax 8.0 macro
there is no such distoration. This happens on all
kind of templates
converted from Winword 6.0 or created new in
Winword Office 97 and
is
same in different machines I am using the
programs.
This does not happen when I use ACT 3.02 with
Winword 6.0
templates.
Here is no formatting change whether I use Winfax
or ACT macro.
Do you have an idea why this happens, especially
as both Act and
Winfax are Symantec programs and they do not work
the same way
depending from where you start the Winfax
commend/macro.
Looking forward to an answer.
Regards Wolfgang
Hello Wolfgang,
I'm not sure why the faxing behavior between the two program would be
different. However in one case you are using ACT! 3 and Word6 and in
the other you are using ACT! 4 and Word97. Both ACT! 4 and Word 97 are
very different from their predecessors.
I suggest you try pasting the table into the fax rather than inserting
it.
Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
