I frequently export groups of contacts to a text-delimited file for
importing into Winfax Pro phonebooks. Once I have selected the
fields to export I save the fields to a map file.
The next time I go to export and try to access the previously saved
map I ge the message "file contains no matching fields".

The really weird things is that sometimes the process works just
fine. I have been unable to detect a pattern to when it works and
when it doesn't

Can you help me out?

Hi Troy,

Sometimes you can overcome this error by using ACTDIAG (ACTDIAG.EXE
located in ACT folder)to reset the Data Exchange map. Then when you
get to the Contact map screen save the map to default.map. The next
time you encounter the error reload the default.map, reset then reload
the winfax map.
