Hi Antony,

ACT! 3.0 is not designed to use the internet in any fashion. The only
means of pasting the information into the relavent fields is one at a
time.

ACT! 4.0 is designed to give you the option of doing a Lookup >
Internet Directory and when you locate the contact, highlighting and
adding to the database.

Hi Colleen,

What information was copied to the floppy disk, was it data files like
with extensions like DBF or exported information using the Data
Exchange Export wizard?

I will be looking for your response.

I don't know if the Data Exchange Export Wizard was used or not. Does the information need to be copied in a different format or will I be able to copy is as is?

Hi Colleen,

Copy all 17 data files (this is the number of files in an ACT! 3.0
database) to your database folder. Open ACT! 3.0 and select File >
Open, you should see the .DBF file for the database copied onto the
floppies, highlight and click open. If no corruption is found it
should open and prompt you to convert if it is an earlier release of
the product.
