I am trying to export a db to Outlook98 - I am having the same with
all three db's. Once imported from Outlook98 - all of the contact
info is not being received, just the contact name and address, no
company,phone,email,etc.
All updates on ACT have been installed.
Any ideas?
(All three databases have over 500 contacts, is this a problem?)
Thanks!

Hi Toni,
I use Outlook98 and have imported both ACT! 3.0 and ACT! 4.0 files.
The import mapping is controlled by Outlook98 and not by ACT!.
I do know the most current release of Outlook98 is needed for the
import routines to be working correctly, the version I have installed
is 8.5.5603.0. In the imports it automatically brought information is
from the default ACT! fields.
As a test you could create a new database and import your orginal in.
Make sure all the fields are mapped at the final Contact Map screen.
The number of contacts should be an issue importing with the Win95
system optimized. The following document is a good resource for
recommended parameters.
