Copied a Act database and..

Operating system: Windows 95a
Network: --Other--

Hi, I've made a copy of the Act folder where my Database was on my
computer to a CD and guest what ?? My laptop was stolen.

At least I had my CD... The problem is, that when I copied my folder
again on my PC I can see my DAtabase but some info are missing ?

All my notes are missing, on some clients the address is missing, on
some other it's the nam of the contact etc etc..

Can someone help me here ??

Hi Ghis,

When you copied the database did you copy all 17 data files or only
the DBF?

ACT! 3.0 is comprised of 17 data files and they all must be copied to
have all contact, notes history and activities. Check your CD and see
if you have all 17 data files, copy them to your desktop database
directory. Make sure you have ACT! 3.08 installed, then use the
ACTDIAG (ACTDIAG.EXE) found in the ACT folder to Diagnose the database
for any problems.
