Hello There,

It sounds as if the program is in the startup group. You should go to
START, PROGRAMS, STARTUP, and see if ACT! is there. If so, then you
need to take it out. This is done by going to START, SETTINGS,
TASKBAR. Then from there you click the "Advanced" tab. Then you can
browse to the Startup Group and delete the ACT! icon that you do not
want.
