I am looking for the least expensive way to take Act with me on sales
calls.

I have a PC at my home office and use it there on office days. That
works great for me but I now realize that I should have bought a
laptop. It is too late for that now ( money constraints do not
allow for a second BIG purchase) , but I do want to use Act to access
customer info before sales calls and make notes, to-dos and schedule
future meetings right after leaving a customer's office.

What options do I have- laptop only?-- Palm pilot type computer? Used
laptop with just enough storage and speed to run Act?-- etc...

Can I use my current Act program to do this?

Once again- I am looking for the least expensive way to take Act with
me--

E-mail any follow up questions or your much needed help to
AJPa...@aol.com

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello John,

If you have ACT! in two locations, you can in fact synchronize the two
databases. There is a knowledge base article that covers this in
detail in the ACT! Knowledge Base. You can use the link that I have
placed below in order to open this article.

"Updating a Common Database Between Home and Office"

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Dear Chris,
I appreciate your quick response to my question but it does not
answer the question.

Please review my question, as it relates to your suggestions for a
second computer or hand-held for using act, not how to share info
between them .

Thank you,
John
