Configuration Information:
Operating system: Windows 95a
Network: --Other--

This problem originated because I could not Syncronize the database
with another user with a shared file. I am doing this correctly with
other databases and users.
I would get "An attempt was made to access past its end" when I
attempted to Sync,...You folks have suggested

1) New user name and Administrator level

2) Removing indexes thru Actdiag etc

Neither of these methods helped.

I now notice that a simple click on the "Country" field causes this
same " An attempt..." error note and there is no drop-down box,... a
second click causes the program to have to be closed. This does not
happen in other databases where clicking just provides the drop-down
box.

Does this help toward another suggestion? All other things work
well,...the database Opens OK

Hello George,

The current layout could be damaged. This can also cause the error
message. There is a knowledge base article that covers this in detail
in the ACT! Knowledge Base. You can use the link that I have placed
below in order to open this article.
