I support several people on a Netware 4.1 network using Act 3.08. We
have had several database issues recently and now I cannot lock the
database to reindex. I have followed the advice on the FAQ and
knowledge-base pages refering to this issue but have had no success.
I copied the database to a single computer, removed it from the
network and removed all but one user. That user can access the
database maintainance features while in the "actdemo" database that
came with ACT but still receives the "Can't lock database" message
when she is in our database. HELP!!! What are we doing wrong? Do we
need to send in our database for repair? By the way, we are not using
WinFax or any other program except Norton Anti-Virus on the test
computer (a Compaq Deskpro Pentium-II 300 w/64 Mb of memory).
