can't lock users out to perform database maintenance

Hello Traci,

It sounds as if there is a Locking file that is causing this problem.
You can go into Windows Explorer and open the Database folder. From
there delete the file that starts with the database name and ends in
.lck. Then you should be able to do the maintenance.
