I have used Winfax Pro for several years without any problems.
However, I recently received a phone call that my fax was not
working. When I activated the automatic receive, I received a
message screen that read Open Com Port: 0. A second screen
instructed me to go to setup and set up the modem. When I open that
screen, there are no listings in the com port selections or the modem
type selections. They are completely blank. I ran the test, which
indicated that the modem is on Com 2, but I can't enter this
information on the setup screen. I checked the modem with another
program, and it is working fine. I have no idea as to why this
happened, or what to do about it. Thank you for any assistance which
you can offer.
