I have WFP 7.0 and my friend can only run 4.0. He is needing the
ability to search specific fields in his phonebook entries as version
7.0 allows. My question is, does version 4.0 offer this searching
ability?

In the Phonebook menu in WinFax PRO 4.0 click on the Search option.
