After re installing Winfax Lite Version 3.0 the logged files in the
Winfax/Data directory will not appear in the Send Log or the Recieve
Log. Therefore, after reinstalling the Winfax Lite Version 3.0 it
appears that all of the logged files from the previous installation
cannot be retrieved.
A reinstallation enables the features of the software. Faxing and
recieving is enabled and working correctly. New log data gets saved
in the Winfax\Data directory. The new logged data files are retrieved
correctly. However any log files from any earlier installations
cannot be retrieved.
The unretrievable file condition persists after "Sanatization
Procedures". The "Sanatization Procedures" remove old Winfax
software. Another installation is performed and the files still
cannot be retrieved.
A search for an upgradable software version of Winfax does not show
any Winfax version recommended for a Windows 3.1 system.
The next remedy to attempt to retrieve the data files created from
Winfax Lite 3.0 is to see if the files can be retrieved using an
upgraded version of Winfax.
Will new Winfax versions of software run on a Windows 3.1 system?
Are there any software patches available to correct the unretirvable
log files from an earlier installation of Winfax Lite 3.0?

Winfax Pro 4. is the only version that runs under Windows 3.x, however the log files have most likely been overwritten with blank
new ones and hence are gone.
