After re installing WinfaxLite version 3.0 on a Dell Pentium Windows
3.1, System, old files in log are not recognized. Old logged files
do not show in Send Log or in Receive Log. New files after re
installation show in Send Log amd in Receive Log.

How do I get old log files to show in Send Log or in Receive Log. I
would like the old files to be available.

Thank You.

Peter,

Symantec is not responsible for the support of the Lite product. The
vendors who purchase the OEM product have agreed to provide the
support for the Lite product for in many cases the product is unique
to the vendors hardware. Please note that the telephone number for
support will be on a sticker inside the front cover of your Users
Guide, but may also be found in another location in your particular
documentation. The representatives at these numbers have the resources
at their disposal to provide the necessary support.

PS

Please try the following:

In the [WinFax] section of the WIN.INI file, please ensure that the
line Fax Path = is pointing to the directory that contains the LOG.DB
and STATUS.FTM files. If the paths are correct try renaming the
LOG.DB file with the extension .OLD. If you are still unable to see
the events in the log try renaming the LOG.DB and the STATUS.FTM with
the extension .OLD.
Sincerely,

Brett Simpson [Symantec Corp.]
