I am running a W98/95 peer-to-peer network. Two of the PCs on the
network are older 486/66's (with Evergreen Pentium upgrade chips)
which are running W95, and which probably could not handle WinFax Pro
9.0.

When I try to print to the network printer from these PCs, I get an
error. The printer address is //ibm server/hpiii,
but in the printer information in WinFax, it only shows as //ibm.

Will WinFax Pro 4.0 work over a network? If not, can I run WinFax
Pro 9.0 on these upgraded 486s?

Many thanks,
Jan Smith

Jan,
Have you resolved your problem. I have a WIN95 client logging into a
Novell4.1 network.. and driving a WIN95 Winfax Server 5.0. The
clients all run WinFax Pro 4.0. I am having intermittent troubles
like you wouldn't believe. I just took over this position and it
appears that the 4.0/5.0 network application isn't appreciative. I'm
looking at the 9.0 upgrade. I appreciate any info you might have.
Thanks
Sam
