win98 support

I have been using winfax(don't remember the version) with win 3.1 for
many years now.I just bought a new pentium with win98 and installed
the old winfax version.When using it seems ok then says no carrier
antd the log shows error.
Is the problem that the older version is not compatible with win 98
and i need to upgrage to version 9 or could it be a modem problem?

There is no guarantee that WinFax PRO 4.0 will run under Windows 98.
You can try re-installing WinFax under 98 and see if that makes any
difference. I would recommend upgrading to WinFax PRO 9.0/Talkworks
2.0. Please contact Customer Service to order the upgrade:
