After installing ACT 3.0 for Win 3.1, I open the program and get an
error message that informs me that "CTL3D32.DLL [was] not installed
properly in WINDOWS/SYSTEM..." and that I should (somehow) install it
properly. I have renamed the existing CTL3... files, found
everywhere in the computer, , as suggested by FAQ messages found
elsewhere at this site, completely deleted ACT! twice and twice
reinstalled the program. I still get this error. What's going on
and how do I fix it?
Hello Dan,
I haven't come across this problem before lets see is bypassing the
Start-up Wizard gets past the error.
Close ACT!
Open the ACT.INI file. (Select, File, Run - Type ACT.INI - the ACT.INI
file will open in notepad)
In the [General] section set the Run Startup Wizard<I> line to equal
0.
In the [Global] section set the First Run<I> line to equal 0.
Now open ACT!
