american template

Configuration Information:
Network: --None--
------------------------------------------------------------

I am trying to set up a form letter. I went into write, clicked on
form letter and in the dialog box i did not have american.tpl in fact
I had non e to the template that help listed. I reinstall act2.0 this
did not cure the problem. I did a search for all tpl. files in act
and only came up with other form letter which we have already set up.
How can i set up a form letter using the american template?

Hello Caron,

I would recommend manually going to the Actwin2 directory and then
seeing if there is a "Template" directory. Then from there see if
there are any files in it. If there are no files in that directory
then you can run the installer again. This time make sure and choose
"Custom" install. That should ensure that it puts the templates back
on the machine. Once you have done the Custom Reinstall, then you
will go to WRITE, EDIT TEMPLATE, and then choose the template to
customize for your Form Letter.
