PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLING NORTON'S UNINSTALLER DELUXE AND TALKWORKS.

Last month I provided Levi Buchanan with my problems with installing
UND. He told me to use C-A-D to close out all programs except for
Explorer and Systray. Last week I bought TALKWORKS PRO 2.0 mainly
because the vendor installed CommCentral (Packard Bell) AND MY MS
EXCHANGE WERE CORRUPTED AND I COULD NOT FIX, but I needed voice
answering and FAX capabilities.
Yesterday, I installed first UND, registered it, and then
installed TW. I got upset because all of a sudden without query,
the TW merged with MS EXCHANGE!!! I got as far as filling out the
registration form, to send to you guys by modem when everything went
crazy. Restarting my 166 meg computer, 2.5 meg hard drive with WIN
95 and WP7, plus Norton's Anti-Virus, 4.0, Utilities 3.0, with
external ZIP, HP LaserJet 5L, HP Scanner and other stuff, when it got
to C:\windows--gave the msg "error accessing the registry," then
"memory allocation error" then "cannot load COMMAND, system halted".
Well, after trying to restart several more times with the
same messages coming up, I restarted in SAFE MODE. I found that I
had neither ZIP nor modem connected, so after some thought, I decided
to uninstall both the UND and TW programs. I was successful with
that operation but my keyboard froze up. I finally disconnected it
and reconnected it and it was then O.K.
Since I needed the UND, to get rid of files from a large
project I had just finished, I decided to reinstall it. Also, since
I got an urgent message from you guys to update the UND, I did that
by modem which was then again working after uninstalling the two
programs. When I then went to close out the program for the UND
installation--I found that I no longer had the program "Systray" on
my computer??? That bothered me since it was one of only two program
that should not be CLOSED when installing a new program.
Incidentally, I used the Norton system installer to help with the TW
installation but apparently that wasn't much help in keeping things
squared away.
Now, I still, need phone and voice answering and FAX
capabilities and am looking to you guys for help before I make
another move to install TW.
I'm inclines to uninstall both CommCentral and MS Exchange
since they are the corrupt troublemakers, but I don't know if that
will do damage to my programs, hardware or other software, if it will
solve the problem and most importantly, whether it will allow me to
install TW and use it freely without fear of a crash or worse.
Sorry, this is so long, but felt you needed to have the facts
to guide me in the right direction--believe me the last two days have
not been fun especially since I have so much riding on my computer.
