Sony Clie - PEG610 + ACT! + Syncing problem

Hi,

I have a Clie 610, and use ACT! for all my scheduling/contact info on
desktop. I installed the trial ver. of Intellisync 4.0 to sync w/ the
CLIE. Intellisync-lite only works with Outlook, which I do not want to
use.

Hotsync/Intellisync will recognize and download schedule information,
but either times-out or breaks connection when it tries to dl my
address-book to the CLIE610.

I'm running Win98 on a notebook, plenty of memory, and have around 1,000
contacts in ACT!.

Suggestions??
