winfax not going...

i had a system with win2000 & winfax 10 installed.

i upgraded my system to winxp (system update and not format &
reinstall).

now my winfax is not functional. it's installed but don't send or
recieve faxes.

i tried to uninstall too but it's impossible to remove the program
from control panel.

so i tried to reinstall and uninstall again, and so it has gone. but
when i try to reinstall, when the setup program asks me to insert my
id and fax number, i click on that dialogue box and it just
disappears. the same thig happens when i try to configure winfax in
the "recieving" dialog box. program is installed but doesn't recieve
nor send faxes.

ah, i tried to remove software and with regedit remove all related
keys, but invane....
