Configuration Information:
Platform: Windows NT
Network type: Windows NT
Version of norton antivirus: 4.0

I have NAV 4.0 for Networks installed on a NT4SP3 workstation
I installed NAV4 to another workstation successfully using NDSU.
Then I tried to distribute options and patches using NDSU.

After some time, everything seems OK. The lower screen of NDSU shows
'SUCCESS', and when I log into the other WS, both options and virus
updates seem OK.
However, the upper part of the screen shows still PROCESSING for the
job, and I cannot modify the job.
BTW, for Options, it shows ServerNT as platform, no matter if I
select Server or Workstation options in the create job dialog.
What's on?

Regards,
Steffen

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for writing into us at Online Support.

I looked up a couple of things on this and this is what I found.

Try opening the Job Name.jdb file located in the Data folder. This is a
text file, and can be edited in any text editor. Change the
status=PROCESSING to status=STOPPED. That may help.

Lastly, take a look at the following Knowledgebase article. It might help
you out also.

I haven't heard of any problems with the options showing NTServer like you
mentioned. I will need to research that a bit and see what I can find out.
