Installing and Running games/programs

Configuration Information:
Platform: Windows 95
Network type: --Other--
Version of norton antivirus: 4.0

I have been having problems installing and runing programs. Programs
will not install while norton is enabled. I keep getting stack dump
error messages also.

I have not been able to install any CD rom programs at all.
I just attempted to install Tom Clancy's " Rainbow 6 " I was finally
able to install it after several attemps. When I tried to run the
game it would cut the game off. I would restart the game and the same
thing would happen. This occured about 5 times. I have not been able
to install the game again. Any assistance in this matter would be
greatly appreciated.
