Configuration Information:
Platform: Windows 98
Network type: --Other--
Version of norton antivirus: 2.0

If I load autoprotect on start up Win 98 will not load.Auto protect
turned off, no problem.

I had NO PROBLEM with the Win 98 Version 1650 Beta 3.

Any Ideas as money for a 5.0 disk is not available and I currently
have about 16,000 definitions.

Hi Henry,

Thanks for writing into us at Online Support.

Norton AntiVirus 2.0 is not compatible with Windows 98. I am not sure why
it worked OK with the Beta, but we do not support running NAV 2.0 in this
environment.

You will need to upgrade to NAV 4.0 or NAV 4.0 to have Windows 98 support.
