Users receiving the message:
ERROR: An error occurred updating Norton AntiVirus
Please contact your network administrator

the c:\navlog.txt contains the same error message.
The .nns file has verbose=1.

The error message does not point in any specific direction.
The file and directory permissions are the same as on other working
networks. I have checked and rechecked the nns file and the login
scripts for correct paths etc...

Where else do I look?

Hi,

I have been having some problems with retrieving some messages from this
newsgroup, but recently we have worked it out.

Can you send in a copy of your NNS file? You can send that to my personal
email of jwhi...@symantec.com and I will take a look at it. I think that
something is missing in there.

Since you are running on a Windows NT network, how do you have the share
setup and what are the rights for everyone?

Let me know this and I will hope on this problem for you.
