Hello Vince;
It sounds as though there may be a rather serious issue with the
drive. What operating system are your running? What version of NUM
are you running? What format is your drive (HFS or HFS+)?
Under the assumption that you might have run NUM 3.5 or NUM 3.5.1 on
an HFS+ formatted edrive, I recommend that you download Disk First
Aid 8.2 from the Apple websiste (www.apple.com) and run it on the
hard drive. if this is what you have done, Disk First Aid will
straighten out the damage. Then you shoud immediately back-up the
drive, reformat it and then reload the drive.
If you could provide the above information, it will make it easier to
assist you, if what I assumed is not correct.
