CopyDoubler and Finder 7.1.3

Hi. I've been running System 7.1 ever since I bought this Quadra 605. I
know never system versions are available, but I don't have a large
enough drive to incorporate them.

I recently found an archive on Apple's site that ended up being the
AppleScript 1.1 SDK. Included in it was Finder 7.1.3 (and associated
extensions) and a note saying that this could be used with System 7.1.

I ran the installer and added the scriptable Finder to my system. The
problem I am having is that the new Finder breaks CopyDoubler. Copying
uses the older slower Finder copy functions, and attempts to set
CopyDoubler's prefs causes the Finder to crash.

I am also using the demo version of Conflict Catcher 4, and I see that
the Finder crashing causes CC's preferences to be changed and I have to
reinstall CC to get out of it.

Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a patch of a fix of some
kind available?
