Does Copydoubler exist for 8.1?

Version: NDD Pro 1.1
Application: CopyDoubler
Operating system: System 8.1

I've just bought a new G3, installed CopyDoubler and found myself
stuck with the Mac OS "dumb" file transfer. Is there a way to get
CopyDoubler to work with 8.1?

No! Its not even supposed to work for 8.0. 7.6.1 is the very last system any
DiskDoubler Pro Application will work. Unfortunately G3s will not work with
anything less than 8.0. Don't waste your breath asking why? Symantec after
buying it from Fifth Generation and making tons of money on it; just decided
without Mac Users input that they were not making enough money on it to update
it. You know the the old "Bottom Line" deal.

Appreciate the response. You'd think - even without having to ask why
- that Symantec would make that info available on their web site. If
it's there, it's well buried....

Like to make a slight correction,

AutoDoubler will partially work with 8.0 only.
Diskdoubler will partially work with 8.0 only.
the freware Disk expander will work up to 8.0
Copy doubler and the menu option won't work and may cause system crash if installed.

Yes I agree. They have discontinued it from the time 8.0 hit the market. I
don't undertand the reasoning since with the advent of the www (and its
constant groth) the need for a good compression program is needed. Aladdin
Stuffit now is the only game in town now.

It won't work with System 8, 8.1, and your G3. Symantec elected not to
continue to support this product even though it was very popular and used
by many people.
