I am set up to allow another user (wife) to log on after I am done.
When I put the Mac to "Sleep" we get the appropriate dialog box for
another user to change the users name and enter their pass word, but
Disk Lock won't let them (her) on.
If I get back on and do a "Restart" she has no problems getting in.
That is really inconvenient since I rarely shut the computer down
completely and have to do a cold start. If I don't do it though, SHE
can't get in to do the restart since she has no access.
Have I done something wrong in setting up the preferences or is this
a limitation of the progaram itself? Let me know what I need to
change to make it work.
Also, is there any way to just "Log Off" without putting it to
"Sleep" or doing a "Restart"?

You should be able to do what you are trying to do. Normally, if the
screen saver has come on, and you "wake" the computer back up, at that
point, you should be able to enter a different name and password and log
on as another user.
You do need to make sure that the preference allowing this is enabled in
the "Logon Preferences," which are found in the Super User menu in the
Disklock application. At the bottom of this dialog, there is a pull
down menu where you choose what type of user (if any) can do this.
If you don't have this dialog, you need to get the Disklock 4.0.3
updater/patcher, which will add this functionality. It's available at
the following locations:
Executing the key command, "command, shift, L" should lock the machine
down immediately, though it will use the screensaver to do this.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
