Version: 4.0.3
Operating system: System 8.1

I have a G3 266 all in one Mac. Disklock 4.03 will not allow me to
protect the disk. It just quits with error 2 and advises me to
restart the computer.

I have the exact same problem as Ron Kemp. I really need a security
program for my small business Mac. I need to know the name of a
similar program which will work with with the G3(even if it's a
competitor's, you do owe us after all since we now have to go back to
the stores from which we bought this product because our needs
weren't met). Thank you---Pam Foley

I can't really advise another security program. It is not because they are
competitors, but because I am not familiar enough with other company's
security solutions. I know of FolderBolt, but to the best of my knowledge it
does not lock drives like DiskLock does.

I have had the same problem with my G3 (Disklock will not work on it)
and I found FoolProof Security 3.1.1 from Smartstuff.com will work!
