password will not unlock hard disc

Operating system: System 8.0
Have been using name and password for over year and now
--suddenly--will not work. I have made no recent changes in the
computeer and have tried to use the G3 boot disc with control, option
shift and delete held as well as using holding control, apple P and
R.
WHAT TO DO BEFORE RETURNING THE HARD DISC TO NORTON??????

mean, when you type in the first letter of your username, does DiskLock
auto-populate the rest of the name? Please contact the phone queue to
