TRANSFER OF NEWSGROUP SUPPORT TO WEBGAIN INC.

On April 5th, technical support on the newsgroups will be provided by
WebGain Inc. Symantec will still continue to provide Knowledgebase and phone
technical support services for the time being. Details about the transfer of
these remaining services to WebGain will be announced at a later date.
The schedule for the transfer of newsgroup support will be as follows:
April 5th, 3:30pm Pacific Time:

The symantec.support.itools.* newsgroups on the service.symantec.com news
server will become read-only. All messages will be moved over to the new
news server.
April 5th, 5pm Pacific Time:
======================
The new news-server at WebGain will go online. After 5pm, users should set
their newsreader to: news.webgain.com
* Note: No messages can be posted between 3:30pm and 5pm on April 5th.
However, users should still be able to view the posted messages during this
time. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Please see the attached mapping file for the names of the new newsgroups.
