I am currently having problems sending emails in Outlook 2003. This was
previously working fine and nothing should have changed in the settings
but now I can only receive emails. When sending I get the error
message: "The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem
continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP)."
To try and fix this I increased the timeout limit to 2 minutes which
didn't work and when trying to send a test email message through the
email account settings it came up with this error:
"The specified server was found, but there was no response from the
server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct."
I have 5 email accounts which comes from two different servers and they
all have the same problem so it seems likely that the problem is my end
somehow.
I am unsure if this problem is being caused by Norton Internet Security
and have checked
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/sunset-c2002kb.nsf/f7d6cb402f0b760785256ee600549628/955754ef87303e8c85256edd00478dcd?OpenDocument&src=bar_sch_nam
which is a similar solution for Norton Antivirus 2002 but this did not
work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
