could the reason Norton shows an increased number of files scanned just
recently, be due to a large number of updates the day before by Windows?
None of my other scans have increased in total files e.g., AdAware and I'm
not having any problems with my Windows XP... Just the increase of almost
80,000 additional files being scanned, from about 443,000 to 512,000. I
haven't added anything or made any changes other than those fifteen or so
updates from Windows. TIA
