Uninstalling Norton.

Need to uninstall Norton but it's beaten me. I think that it's the 2004
version and it's installed on a laptop running XP.

The simplest way that I am advised is to use Add/Remove programs from the
Control Panel BUT the program doesn't show there!
It hasn't been possible to simply delete the files from Explorer, because
they show as "Write only".
Can anyone help please?
