Adding my own components to the pallete

I'm trying to get my own components into the pallete and usable
in Cafe Pro 1.0 (I can't upgrade because I want my applets to
work with lots of browsers).

I even subclassed from a Symantec component (ImageButton) and
reimplemented the paint method. I updated the .desc file, got
my icon in the pallete, and can 'draw' the component on
the screen with the form builder.

However, the message window says:
"No Design Time Interface for 'ImageCanvas'"
and I can't see the component (or interact with it) in the
form designer.

What am I missing?
