Difference between VC pro and VC Web edition

Hi there

I've got both editions of Visual Cafe pro and VC web edition. which one is
better to learn, even though for the moment I want to do is create Applets.

I've also go the "Discover Visual Cafe" book. Anyone out there used it?
is it good for learning to create applets?
