Hi,

Has anyone produced a swing dll to compile native win32 apps that use swing
library? I have tried various combinations of compile options. I have tried
creating a dll myself - finally getting:

Fatal Error: internal error classdef.c 1064

(only error). I have tried including swing source file path/ class file
path. I have tried including swing source files directly in project window
(dragged from file explorer). Every swing file just needs a whole bunch
others so I ended up including all swing source files. On this one I gave up
(killed visual cafe) after 6 minutes of parsing.

I am using VisualCafePDE 2.5.
The readme says under 'known issues and workarounds':

"* The Win32 dll's for swing are not included."

I can only assume that either there is a licensing problem with Symantec
distributing a swing dll or that it is technically difficult - in which case
if they can't do it then I don't suppose I've got any hope whatsoever of
compiling a dll myself.

BTW This is using the "JFC Frame" project template - no sinister classes
lying around, just a plain old template.

I've been programming for a couple of years, but only just started using
newsgroups, so if you can send a reply back to me (as well as newsgroup)
there is a higher likelihood of me getting it:

z...@getsystems.com

Thanks heaps.
Zen.
