John,

My understanding of this is that only the user who installed the trial
edition should be able to use it. This is by design. Try uninstalling
it and reinstalling it as the user.

When I install it as another user, I still retain the problem,
it works for the Admin but not for the isntalling user. Is there a
file which is not removed by the uninstall? Perhaps there is a
secondary install of some kind?

John,

This is very likely. Otherwise you could uninstall and reinstall and
get another 30 days. I'll see if there are alternatives, but at this
point, you may want to consider giving that user full rights to the
Visual Cafe directory heirarchy. That's all they should need.

I have tried what you suggetsed, but was not given a time extension
of nay kind, once again the admiistrator can use the program without
and problems. The user also ahs full access to the cafe directory
hierchy, I believe the problem may be that some file is not
uninstalle,d and is detected when the install is re-attempted. Is it
possible to find out which files weren't uninstalled when the progrma
is removed?

John,

The problem is that with that information, you can effectively make the
"Trial" nature of the program a moot point, since you could repeatedly
extend the time period. I'll look into this to see what your options
are, however, what I recommend is actually purchasing the product. We
do have a 60 day money back guarantee, so you could always return it if
you decide that it is not the product for you.
