I am trying to install your Cafe for Windows 95/NT onto a Packard
Bell 200 Mhz Pentium machine initially from a CD-ROM. The first few
tries showed the InstallShield Wizard being loaded, but the
InstallShield wouldn't execute. Following further attempts, I
started getting an error message indicating that the _SETUP.DLL and
_ISRES.DLL (in the _SYS.CAB) files must be colocated with the
setup.exe file. I checked - both were present. I also tried copying
all Cafe install files onto my harddisk, but got the same results.

Any ideas?

Hello Byron,

The install is probably running into a conflict with another program
on your machine, a video driver problem, or a lack of hard disk space.

What you will want to do is:

1. Make sure all other programs are shut down on install. This means,
on a windows 95 system, pressing control, alt, del and making sure
that there is nothing in this list except for "Explorer" and
"Systray".

2. Checking your hard disk on both the drive you are installing Cafe
onto, and the drive Windows is installed onto. Both of these should
have at least 50 megs free.

3. Your video driver might be causing a problem with install shield.
Go to the manufacture web site and be sure you have the most current
driver. (even if you just got the machine, the driver is probably out
of date).

Try these things and see how it goes!
