cafe 1.8 upgrade from 1.5 won't start

dear sir:

i successfully upgrade from 1.5 to 1.8 but it just won't start with the
error message:

the scwmn32.exe file is linked to missing export sccrt70.dll:_p__argc.

any idea??
i am running win98 with java 1.0.2 backed up under cafe update process.
i checked my system sccrt70.dll is under windows\system
please help!

Hello Matt,

It might be that the new sccrt70.dll didn't copy in properly. I would
say try applying the 1.8 patch again. If that doesn't work for you,
try renaming the sccrt70.dll and then running the patch. At least the
error message should change. At best it will fix the problem!
